That’s right — Tampa Bay’s “all conversations, no presentations” techie-and-creative meetup is back in 2023 with its first get-together on Tuesday, January 31st at 6:30 p.m. at Southern Brewing and Winemaking in Seminole Heights!
Click here to register for the meetup!
By then, we’ll be a little over a week into the Year of the Rabbit (the Lunar New Year falls on Sunday, January 22nd). In Chinese culture, the rabbit is a symbol of peace, prosperity, and longevity. In Monty Python and the Holy Grail, the rabbit is anything but that.
No doubt we’ll be talking about all sorts of things, from plans for 2023 to the sudden rise of AI and what we’ve been using ChatGPT for to the shifting sands of the tech job market. We have stories to tell, and we’ll bet you do, too. Join us, come chat, network, share ideas, and plot schemes!
Southern Brewing and Winery is a long-standing gathering place in Seminole Heights. Their wares are beer, wine, cider, and non-alcoholic drinks, and they have a regular food truck (the usual one of Tuesday is This Little Piggy), and they’re cool with food from outside. They’ve got a great space inside, but what’s even better is their patio, which is a beautiful green spot with large fire pits. They’re great places to hang out and converse! (We’ll choose indoors or outdoors depending on the weather.)
Coders, Creatives, and Craft Beer is just what it says on the label: a new regular gathering of coders and creatives over craft beer! We’re pretty flexible on the definition of “creative”, and it doesn’t matter if you express your creativity in the form of programs, prose, poetry, paint, pitch-bends, processor chips, or project management — if you create and like craft beer, this is the meetup for you!
Come to meet people, talk shop, share ideas, support a local business, and enjoy some beverages (with or without alcohol) and food! We’d love to see you there!
